Insilco Ltd, which has been under voluntary liquidation since June 25, 2021, reported un-audited results for Q3 FY26 (ended Dec 31, 2025). Total income for the quarter was just ₹10 lakhs (entirely from interest on deposits), with a net loss of ₹49 lakhs (₹(0.08) per share). The nine-month loss widened to ₹235 lakhs versus ₹160 lakhs a year earlier, reflecting continued expenses of around ₹256 lakhs with no operating revenue. The company also announced the resignation of Managing Director Ms. Chaitali Talele (effective close of business Feb 13, 2026) after only about four months in the role, and the appointment of Ms. Shivangi Negi as the new Managing Director for five years from Feb 14, 2026 without remuneration, along with Ms. Deepa Jha as an Additional Director. The Liquidator, Ms. Kapila Gupta, updated the Board that the dissolution application is pending before NCLT Allahabad, with the next hearing listed for Feb 12, 2026. Trading in the stock remains suspended by BSE since October 7, 2022, and the company's sole plant at Gajraula has been shut since October 2019.
With no operations, no revenue and ongoing liquidation losses funded mainly from the proceeds already distributed to shareholders, this update has limited practical impact on shareholders. The MD change is largely procedural for a company in liquidation, but the continued delays in NCLT approval of dissolution mean residual legal/admin costs will keep accruing until the company is formally dissolved.
