On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.6 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
IRCON, with 51 percent share in a joint venture with Finolex J-Power Systems (49 percent), received a domestic contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd. It covers construction of a 220 kV double-circuit overhead and underground link from Koradi-II to Mankapur under the Nagpur Zone. The contract is worth Rs 168.41 crore, excluding GST, and will be completed within 18 months, excluding the monsoon.
Adds to IRCON's order book and offers future revenue, though project execution and profit sharing with the joint-venture partner remain important.
