Aegis Logistics has signed a Framework Agreement with CRL Terminals Private Limited to sell its specialized storage terminal assets at CRL-4 (NDDB) in Kandla, with a total capacity of 94,148 cubic metres. The company, which built and developed these assets, will receive ₹49.50 crore from CRL upon execution of the agreement. CRL Terminals is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited (AVTL), in which Aegis Logistics is one of the promoter companies, making this a related party transaction. The deal has been carried out on an arm's length basis, and AVTL is not a direct party to the agreement.
Aegis Logistics will receive ₹49.50 crore in immediate cash inflow from selling storage infrastructure to a group-related entity, which could help unlock value from built assets. Since the buyer is a related party (subsidiary of AVTL, a joint venture with Vopak), the move may be part of internal restructuring of the group's terminal business, with no immediate impact expected on share price from operational perspective.
