ABD Gains Worldwide Ownership of Mansion House Brand

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD), India's largest spirits company by sales volume, has acquired 100% of Singapore-based UTO Asia Pte. Ltd. for €1,225,000 (excluding stamp duty and levies). The deal was approved by ABD's Board on June 10, 2025, and is effective immediately. UTO Asia owns worldwide rights to the 'Mansion House' and 'Savoy Club' liquor brands, excluding 10 Asian territories such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China. With this acquisition, UTO Asia becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABD, giving ABD full control over these brands globally and strengthening its international brand portfolio beyond its flagship Officer''s Choice Whisky.
This is a relatively low-cost acquisition (about ₹1.2 crore equivalent) that expands ABD''s brand portfolio with international recognition and could support future revenue growth from overseas markets, though the immediate financial impact will be modest given the small deal size.
