ACME Solar Holdings' wholly owned subsidiary ACME Renewtech Sixth Private Limited has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for 300 MW / 1,200 MWh capacity under the Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Tranche VII project. The project will be connected to ISTS substations and supply 4 hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours with 85% minimum annual availability. The tariff is Rs. 6.28 per unit, with scheduled supply commencement on May 28, 2028. With this agreement, ACME Solar's PPA-signed portfolio stands at 6,570 MW out of a total contracted portfolio of 8,070 MW.
This is a positive development as the 300 MW contract increases ACME Solar's secured project pipeline by 4.6%, providing revenue visibility for 25 years from 2028. The contract with SECI, a AAA-rated central government enterprise, represents a low-risk, government-backed revenue stream.
