ACME Solar's wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Sikar Solar Private Limited, has commissioned the third phase of 75 MW at its 300 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan on June 9, 2025. This follows Phase-I (52.5 MW) and Phase-II (112.5 MW) commissioned in May 2025, taking the total commissioned capacity at the project to 240 MW, with the balance 60 MW still under commissioning. With this milestone, the company's total operational renewable energy capacity has risen to 2,806.4 MW out of a 6,970 MW portfolio. The project is expected to generate around 780 million units of clean energy annually, and a Power Purchase Agreement under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme at Rs 3.05 per unit is expected to be signed soon, with interim power being sold on merchant tariffs via power exchanges.
This is a positive operational update for shareholders, as it expands revenue-generating capacity and moves the company closer to fully commissioning a major 300 MW project. The expected PPA at a fixed tariff of Rs 3.05/unit will provide long-term revenue visibility once signed, while merchant sale of interim power offers near-term income upside.
