Acme Solar Holdings, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, has commissioned the fourth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This phase adds 95 MW / 200.64 MWh of capacity, bringing total commissioned capacity so far to 171 MW / 361.14 MWh out of the full 285 MW / 601.904 MWh project. The commercial operation date for this phase is March 25, 2026. The project is about 60% complete, with remaining capacity still to be commissioned.
This is a positive development for shareholders as it shows steady project execution and adds revenue-generating capacity. Phased commissioning of a large BESS project supports future earnings visibility, though the stock reaction will depend on tariffs secured and overall project returns.
