Hindustan Fluorocarbons Ltd (HFL), a subsidiary of Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd (HOCL), informed that the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers has appointed Shri Yogendra Prasad Shukla, Director (Finance) of HOCL, to hold additional charge of Managing Director of HFL. This follows the superannuation (retirement) of HFL's current Managing Director on 31.05.2025. Shri Shukla will continue his existing role as Director (Finance) at HOCL alongside the new charge. The additional charge is for a period of 3 months or until further orders, whichever is earlier, effective from 01.06.2025.
This is a temporary administrative arrangement by the Government of India with a nominee from the parent company, not a fresh external appointment. Shareholders should note the transitional leadership for the next quarter, but day-to-day operations are unlikely to be materially affected.
