Aditya Birla Money reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results, approved by the board on July 11, 2025. Total revenue from operations stood at ₹11,270.79 lakhs, down about 5.6% from ₹11,940.83 lakhs in Q1 FY25, mainly due to a sharp drop in broking income (₹8,132 lakhs vs ₹9,989 lakhs YoY). However, the wholesale debt market segment grew strongly, with revenue rising to ₹3,064 lakhs from ₹1,880 lakhs YoY. Profit after tax came in at ₹1,537.62 lakhs (down ~6% YoY) but jumped nearly 65% sequentially from ₹932.59 lakhs in Q4 FY25. EPS was ₹2.72 versus ₹2.90 in the year-ago quarter. Operating margin improved meaningfully from 12.72% to 18.25% QoQ, and debt-equity ratio eased from 7.11x to 6.58x. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unqualified limited review report.
Sequential rebound in profit and margins is a positive signal, though YoY revenue and earnings remain slightly soft due to weaker broking activity. Improving leverage and strong growth in the wholesale debt market segment support the near-term outlook for shareholders.
