Aditya Birla Money posted Q1 FY27 results. Total revenue from operations grew 16% YoY to Rs 130.77 crore, led by interest income (up 27.8% to Rs 70.75 crore). However, finance costs surged 38% to Rs 43.67 crore, squeezing margins. Profit after tax fell 28% YoY to Rs 11.13 crore versus Rs 15.38 crore. Operating margin compressed sharply to 11.78% from 18.25%. Broking segment revenue rose 21% YoY. EPS stood at Rs 1.97.
Higher borrowing costs hurt profitability despite top-line growth. Margin pressure is the key concern; watch for improvement in coming quarters.
