Aditya Infotech (CPPLUS) reported strong Q3 FY26 consolidated results with revenue of Rs. 1,139.11 crore (up ~24% QoQ) and profit after tax of Rs. 95.98 crore (up ~37% QoQ); 9M FY26 PAT stood at Rs. 198.83 crore with EPS of Rs. 17.46. The board approved a 50:50 joint venture with Orient Cables (India) Limited to manufacture LAN cables, CCTV cables, and connectors exclusively for AIL, aimed at backward integration. Its material subsidiary AIL Dixon Technologies will set up a greenfield project in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh for plastic and metal housing components for CCTV products, with a proposed capacity of 30 million units per annum and an investment of around Rs. 75 crore, to be completed in phases by Q4 FY27. Capacity augmentation at the existing Kadapa plant was also approved, and the Articles of Association will be amended to allow Dixon Technologies to nominate one director on the board, subject to shareholder approval.
The JV and backward-integration moves (cable manufacturing + CCTV housing) should improve supply security, cost efficiency, and margins over time, while strong quarterly earnings reinforce near-term growth. Short-term stock reaction may be positive given the operational momentum, though the JV MoU is non-binding and definitive terms are still pending.
