On the reaction day the stock moved 2.7 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 3.8 pts less than its Gas peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved the sale of 621,146 Hindustan Aegis LPG shares, equal to 51%, from wholly owned Aegis Gas (LPG) Private Limited to associate Aegis Vopak Terminal Limited for INR 701.61 crore. Shareholder approval is required, with completion expected by January 15, 2026. HALPG will cease to be a step-down subsidiary. In FY2025, it represented 2.49% of turnover and 10.07% of net worth.
The sale may reduce consolidated turnover and net worth as HALPG leaves the group. It adds INR 701.61 crore of cash, but the stock impact is uncertain.
