On the reaction day the stock moved 1.9 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 2.4 pts less than its Oil peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The Board approved buying 75% of Hindustan Aegis LPG for cash at INR 11,295.37 per share. It would buy 621,146 shares from Aegis Gas (LPG) and 292,303 from Vopak India BV. HALPG operates LPG storage, bottling and terminalling at Haldia, with FY25 turnover of INR 168.13 crore. Both sellers are promoter-related. The company says the deal is on arm's-length terms. It needs shareholder approval and is targeted for completion by January 15, 2026.
The deal may expand Aegis Vopak's Haldia terminal operations and add a 75%-owned subsidiary, but promoter links may draw scrutiny.
