Aequs signed long-term supply deals with Safran covering machining of superalloy parts, coatings, and landing gear assembly for Airbus A320, A330, A350, and Boeing 787 programs. The deals broaden the existing Safran Landing Systems tie-up to Safran Aerosystems and Electronics and Defense, taking total Safran relationships to six. Manufacturing will use the upcoming Hosur Engine Components Ecosystem and Belagavi cluster. Comes shortly after the July 2026 A320 wheels contract extending to 2042.
