Afcons Infrastructure has received intimation from the client selecting it as the most suitable bidder for a railway rehabilitation and construction project in Croatia. The project involves reconstruction of existing track and construction of a second track on the Dugo Selo - Novska railway line, along with overhead electrification, signalling, and telecommunication works. The project is valued at €677.07 million (approximately INR 7,544 crore). This is described as Afcons' largest international order to date and marks the company's entry into the European market.
This is a significant positive development as the €677 million order in hard currency (Euros) strengthens Afcons' international order book and marks its expansion into Europe, which could support future revenue growth and valuation.
