Ahluwalia Contracts has secured a Rs 3,069.70 crore order from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), New Delhi, for construction of Common Central Secretarial Building 8 and 9 at Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi under an EPC contract. The project is domestic civil construction to be completed in 21 months. CPWD is a central government entity. No promoter or group company interest is involved in the awarding entity.
Large government order strengthens order book and revenue visibility, likely positive for stock sentiment.
