On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.3 pts more than its Household Appliances peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Amber Enterprises board approved Q1 FY27 results (ended 30 June 2026). Consolidated revenue rose to Rs 3,887.72 crore from Rs 3,449.13 crore YoY, but profit after tax fell to Rs 42.01 crore from Rs 106.80 crore due to a Rs 122.64 crore exceptional item in the Electronics Division related to the Ascent stake buyout. Mr. Sudhir Goyal (Amber CFO) was also named CFO of material subsidiary IL JIN Electronics. Two independent directors were re-appointed for a second 5-year term. The 36th AGM is set for 16 September 2026.
Revenue grew but one-off Ascent buyout charge hit profit. Board changes are routine; no major governance concerns flagged.
