On the reaction day the stock moved 2.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.6 pts less than its Packaging peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
AMD Industries' board approved buying all 150,000 shares of promoter-group company Hindustan Autoplast for Rs 10 per share, or Rs 15 lakh in total. Hindustan Autoplast makes plastic components and auto parts, but its project has not yet started. Completion is planned by 16 October 2025.
The deal broadens AMD's auto-parts business, but the target is not yet operating and the promoter-group sale may limit immediate earnings impact.
