Anantam Highways Trust to acquire 7 highway SPVs for up to Rs 1893.72 cr

Anantam Highways Trust board approved 100 percent acquisition of 7 NHAI highway SPVs (BEPL, DPEPL, KEPL, PHL, BGHL, RVHL, MHHL) for up to Rs 1893.72 cr under ROFO deals. Trust will issue 16.48 crore new Units at Rs 104.76 each (Rs 1726.49 cr) on preferential basis as non-cash consideration. Related party deal since Sponsor group already holds stakes in these entities. Portfolio will rise to 14 project SPVs across Karnataka, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. NHAI and CCI approvals received; unitholder approval via postal ballot pending.
