On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty Microcap 250 and in line with its Paper & Paper Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Andhra Paper's Kadiam unit partially resumed manufacturing on July 15, 2026. One paper machine with 150 MT per day capacity restarted, accounting for about 70 percent of the unit's production. Permanent employees have resumed duty, but contract workmen attendance stays low at around 35 percent of normal strength. Earlier, post revocation of a lockout, contract workmen had refused to resume work over demands on contract terms. The company expects full operations to return as attendance normalises.
Partial restart is positive for revenue recovery, but full normalisation depends on contract workmen attendance returning to normal levels.
