On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.4 pts less than its Waste Management peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Antony Waste Q2 FY27: total tonnage rose 0.8% YoY to about 1.28 million tonnes despite heavy monsoon and PCMC WtE facility suspension. C&T volumes jumped 11.5% YoY on BMC Mumbai ramp-up. Processing volumes fell 7.2% YoY due to WtE suspension. Core revenue dipped 1% YoY but grew 2% excluding power sales. H1 FY27 tonnage up 4.5%, core revenue up 3.8%. WtE facility expected to restart by December 2026.
Mixed quarter: C&T growth strong, but WtE incident hit processing and power revenue. WtE restart by Dec 2026 is a near-term catalyst.
