Anupam Finserv (formerly Vantage Corporate Services) reported FY25 total income of Rs. 3.75 crore, up about 17% from Rs. 3.21 crore in FY24, driven mainly by interest income (Rs. 2.17 crore vs Rs. 1.70 crore) from its financing segment. However, profit after tax fell sharply by around 46% to Rs. 50.71 lakh from Rs. 93.73 lakh, and Q4 PAT collapsed to just Rs. 2.18 lakh versus Rs. 20.53 lakh in Q4 FY24. The decline was driven by higher impairment on financial instruments (Rs. 46.93 lakh vs a Rs. 4.54 lakh reversal) and a Rs. 75.26 lakh loss on sale of fixed assets. Total assets nearly doubled to Rs. 31.96 crore after a Rs. 12.38 crore rights issue during the year, while loans on the book grew from Rs. 14.56 crore to Rs. 28.43 crore. Operating cash flow swung dramatically negative to Rs. (12.47) crore versus Rs. 2.41 crore generated last year, mainly due to Rs. 14.39 crore of loan disbursements. Statutory auditors CGCA & Associates LLP issued an unmodified opinion. The board also appointed M/s. Kushla Rawat & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years from FY26.
Sharply lower profitability and the steep swing into negative operating cash flow are negatives for shareholders, though the balance sheet strengthened via the rights issue. The weak Q4 and rising credit impairment raise concerns about asset quality even as the loan book expands rapidly.
