The Board of Directors of Anupam Finserv Ltd met on 13 May 2025 and approved the audited standalone financial results for Q4 and FY ended 31 March 2025, along with the appointment of M/s. Kushla Rawat & Associates as the Secretarial Auditor for a five-year term (FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30). Statutory auditors CGCA & Associates LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. Total income grew ~16.9% YoY to Rs. 37.47 lakh (from Rs. 32.05 lakh), driven mainly by interest income which jumped ~27.8% to Rs. 21.74 lakh. However, profit after tax fell sharply by ~46% to Rs. 5.07 lakh (from Rs. 9.37 lakh), hit by higher loan impairments (Rs. 4.69 lakh vs reversal of Rs. 0.45 lakh earlier) and a larger loss on sale of property, plant and equipment (Rs. 7.53 lakh vs Rs. 0.69 lakh). Total assets nearly doubled to Rs. 31.96 crore, helped by a rights issue of Rs. 12.38 crore during the year.
Shareholders should note that while top-line growth and loan book expansion were healthy, bottom-line profitability nearly halved and the company swung from positive operating cash flow of Rs. 2.41 crore last year to a negative Rs. 12.47 crore this year. The clean audit opinion and successful rights issue are positives, but the sharp earnings compression and cash burn from loan growth may weigh on near-term sentiment.
