Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust has completed the acquisition of 100% equity shares and preference shares of Kudgi Transmission Limited. The sellers were Infrastructure Yield Plus II (IYP II), Infrastructure Yield Plus IIA (IYP IIA), and India Infrastructure Yield Plus II (IIYP II). The acquisition was carried out as per the Securities Purchase Agreement executed on March 17, 2026. The filing is made under SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014. The trust manages power transmission assets and this acquisition adds to its portfolio.
This acquisition strengthens Anzen InvIT's asset portfolio by acquiring full ownership of a transmission company. For unit holders, it may lead to expanded revenue base but dilution of returns if the asset does not generate proportional income.
