Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited (AHLL), a subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals, is combining its Mother & Child and Fertility businesses (Apollo Cradle and Apollo Fertility) with Kids Clinic India Limited's Cloudnine brand to form a major integrated maternity and fertility care platform. The combined entity will have 55+ centres across India. AHLL's verticals are valued at INR 1,550 Crores, to be received as a mix of cash and 9.9% equity stake in the new platform. AHLL will become the largest non-financial shareholder with board representation. The combined entity is backed by marquee investors including Temasek, True North, and TPG NewQuest. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals including CCI clearance.
This combination creates one of India's largest maternity and fertility platforms, expanding Apollo's presence in the women and child healthcare segment while retaining significant ownership through its subsidiary AHLL.
