On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts less than Nifty 100 and 1.0 pts less than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Apollo will buy 41,650,368 AHLL shares, a 30.58 percent stake held by IFC and IFC EAF, for Rs 12,540.68 million at Rs 301.09 per share. Completion is expected by November 2025, subject to Competition Commission approval. AHLL will become 99.42 percent owned by Apollo, with 0.58 percent in its ESOP pool. Apollo also approved Rs 5,730 million for a 100-bed Gurugram cancer centre with proton therapy, adding 350 patients a year by FY2029.
Full AHLL ownership may improve coordination and use of funds, but the purchase, regulatory approval and hospital spending add execution risk.
