On the reaction day the stock moved 1.2 pts less than Nifty 100 and in line with its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The Competition Commission of India has approved Apollo Hospitals acquisition of 30.58 percent stake (4.16 crore shares) held jointly by International Finance Corporation and IFC EAF in its subsidiary Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited. The deal is worth Rs 1,254.07 crore and was first cleared by Apollos board on September 12, 2025, subject to regulator approval. With this green light, Apollo moves closer to consolidating full ownership of its healthcare services subsidiary.
CCI approval removes a key hurdle. Full control of AHLL strengthens Apollos grip on its diagnostics and wellness arm, a positive for long-term investors.
