Apollo Micro Systems has incorporated ShauryAstra Defence Systems Private Limited as a 34% associate company, subscribing to 3,400 equity shares at face value for a total cash outlay of Rs 34,000. The new entity, incorporated on 21 August 2026, will focus on designing complete weapon systems, long range platforms and unmanned defence technologies for the Armed Forces, led by Dr V.K. Saraswat, former DRDO chief. Apollo will provide its manufacturing and integration muscle as the production backbone.
Symbolically strong move towards becoming a total defence solutions provider under marquee leadership, but cash investment is negligible so near-term financials unchanged.
