On the reaction day the stock moved 3.8 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.9 pts more than its Aerospace & Defense peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Apollo Micro Systems step-down subsidiary IDL Explosives has been granted a 15-year Industrial License under the IDR Act 1951 to manufacture HMX (50 MTPA) and TNT (500 MTPA) at Rourkela, Odisha. HMX and TNT are high-energy materials used in defence and industrial explosives. Management called it a strategic milestone enabling captive supply of defence explosives and potential export opportunities, aligning with the Atmanirbhar Bharat push.
Positive: entry into specialised defence explosives manufacturing strengthens the defence vertical and opens export potential. No orders announced yet.
