At a board meeting on 6 January 2026, Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network approved a stock split of 1 equity share of Rs. 10 into 10 shares of Rs. 1, subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot. The board also cleared acceptance of promoter loans up to Rs. 100 Crores, with an option to convert these loans into equity, and raised the overall borrowing limit of the company to Rs. 500 Crores. Mr. Kiran Kumar Inampudi resigned as Chairperson but will continue as Executive Director. In his place, Mr. Srivatsava Sunkara (already the Managing Director) has been appointed as the new Chairperson; his background is in artificial intelligence and large language models. Postal ballot e-voting will run from 14 January to 12 February 2026.
The 10:1 stock split aims to make shares more affordable for retail investors and improve liquidity. Promoter funding of up to Rs. 100 Cr (convertible to equity) signals promoter support but may dilute existing shareholders if converted. The Chairperson change is a smooth internal transition with the MD taking the additional role.
