Archean Chemical Industries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat on January 30, 2026. The MoU covers development of a captive salt jetty and associated infrastructure with a throughput of 7 MMTPA (million metric tonnes per annum) along Gujarat's coastline. The state government will help the company obtain necessary permissions, registrations, approvals, and clearances from relevant departments. The signing was part of an Investment Promotion Activity for the Vibrant Gujarat Regional conference.
Major capex for captive salt jetty supports core salt business; Gujarat govt backing could ease approvals and boost growth.
