On the reaction day the stock moved 4.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.2 pts less than its Oil peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Asian Energy Services shareholders approved the merger of Oilmax Energy Pvt Ltd into AESL with 99.99% votes in favour at the NCLT-convened meeting on June 12, 2026. Of 29.93 crore votes polled, only 15 shares voted against. The resolution cleared both the Section 230 (three-fourths) threshold and the SEBI public shareholder test. The scheme now awaits NCLT sanction and other regulatory approvals.
Merger moves closer to completion. If sanctioned, Oilmax Energy will merge into AESL, consolidating its energy services business.
