AGL Industries, wholly-owned subsidiary of Asian Granito, is selling its 16 percent equity stake (out of 26 percent total) in associate company Allomex Steel for just Rs 16,000. Allomex Steel was incorporated in August 2025 with zero turnover and net worth. Buyers are directors or relatives of directors of AGL Industries, making it a related party transaction at arm's length. After completion, Allomex Steel will cease to be an associate of AGL Industries.
Nominal Rs 16,000 deal for a non-functional associate; negligible financial impact on Asian Granito. Minor portfolio cleanup.
