Asian Granito's board approved converting a Rs 3.38 crore loan into equity of its UAE subsidiary HSM Sharjah and issuing fresh shares to third-party investors, diluting the company stake from 100 percent to 51 percent. The UAE unit will cease to be wholly-owned but majority control is retained. HSM Sharjah trades ceramic, marble and porcelain products and contributed about 4.17 percent of consolidated FY26 turnover. The new investors are not linked to the promoter group. The move aims to raise funds for UAE business expansion.
Minor dilution in a small UAE subsidiary. Majority control retained. Fundraising for overseas growth. Limited impact on consolidated financials.
