Astec LifeSciences reported unaudited Q2 FY27 results. Income fell 3% to Rs 72.6 crore, the EBITDA loss widened to Rs 19.2 crore from Rs 5.6 crore, and the net loss widened to Rs 37.4 crore from Rs 24.4 crore. H1 income fell 6% to Rs 156.9 crore, with a Rs 56.1 crore net loss. Weak demand, channel stocks, lower exports and cost pressures hurt results; CDMO revenue rose 15% to Rs 15 crore.
Negative: weaker sales and deeper operating losses may pressure the stock, despite 15% CDMO growth and a slightly lower H1 net loss.
