On the reaction day the stock moved 2.4 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.3 pts less than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Aster DM Healthcare said BSE and NSE issued no-objection letters on October 6, 2025 for the proposed merger of Quality Care India Limited into Aster. The clearances allow the scheme to be filed with the National Company Law Tribunal within six months, but shareholder, creditor and other approvals remain required. SEBI also asked for fuller disclosure of financials, valuations, ownership changes, liabilities and legal proceedings.
The merger can move to the next approval stage. Completion is not assured, and investors need the final ownership, valuation and financial details.
