Astra Microwave's joint venture Astra Rafael Comsys has received an order worth Rs 285.56 crores including taxes from the Ministry of Defence for supplying Communication Systems with accessories for the Indian Air Force Special Forces. The order is domestic and is to be executed within 11 months. The company stated it will receive a good portion of the business from this order through the JV. It is not a related party transaction.
Positive for revenue visibility. Order is with the JV but parent will get a meaningful share of business. Strengthens defence order book.
