The Board of Astral Limited has decided to withdraw the Composite Scheme of Arrangement after an independent consultant recommended against proceeding with it in its current form. The consultant evaluated the scheme and an alternative restructuring option, and found the demerger of the Chemical Business unsuitable at present due to its current scale. The Board concluded the scheme is not in shareholders' best interests right now and may revisit the Chemical Business demerger once it achieves scale and financial strength to fund organic and inorganic growth. Earlier disclosures from June 25 and July 5, 2026 are now superseded.
