The board approved unaudited September 2025 results. Half-year total income rose 18.0% to Rs 10,412.91 crore and profit after tax rose 33.0% to Rs 1,427.68 crore; quarter profit rose 4.9% to Rs 741.34 crore. Auditors gave an unmodified review. Sanjay Agarwal was proposed for another three years as Managing Director and CEO from April 19, 2026, subject to shareholder and RBI approval. RBI has given in-principle approval for universal bank status.
Half-year profit growth supports sentiment, but slow quarter growth may cap near-term gains. CEO continuity helps, though approvals are pending.
