AU Small Finance Bank reported audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2026, with joint statutory auditors issuing an unmodified opinion. FY26 net profit rose about 25% YoY to Rs. 2,641 crore from Rs. 2,106 crore, while total income grew around 16% to Rs. 21,614 crore and EPS stood at Rs. 35.40 (vs Rs. 28.32). Deposits grew nearly 23% to Rs. 1.53 lakh crore and advances grew around 25% to Rs. 1.34 lakh crore, with Capital Adequacy Ratio improving to 20.06% and Gross NPAs improving to 2.03% (from 2.28%). The Board recommended a dividend of Re. 1 per share (same as last year), confirmed Gaurav Jain as full-time CFO, and approved enabling resolutions to raise up to Rs. 7,500 crore of equity and Rs. 6,000 crore of debt (including Rs. 2,500 crore of Tier II bonds) over the next 12 months. The Bank also confirmed it has applied for a final Universal Banking license with the RBI, following the in-principle approval received in August 2025.
A 25% jump in full-year profit, improving capital ratios, and stable asset quality are positive for shareholders, though the dividend has been kept unchanged. The large equity and debt fundraising limits signal capacity for future growth (including the Universal Bank transition) but could mean some dilution or supply pressure on the stock if exercised.
