Aurobindo Pharma's board has approved merging two wholly owned stepdown subsidiaries, Eugia Steriles and Eugia SEZ, into Eugia Pharma Specialities, another wholly owned subsidiary. All three make injectable pharma products. FY26 turnovers: Eugia Pharma at about 27,259 million rupees, Eugia SEZ at about 4,874 million rupees, Eugia Steriles at about 63 million rupees. No cash consideration and no change in Aurobindo's shareholding. A Scheme of Amalgamation will be filed with the Hyderabad NCLT.
Internal restructuring only. No impact on shareholders, shares, or stock price. Expected to cut overheads and simplify the group.
