Aurum PropTech's board approved acquiring 100% of PropTiger Marketing Services India Private Limited from REA India Pte Limited (Singapore) in an all-stock deal worth INR 86.45 crore. As consideration, Aurum will issue 42,42,537 equity shares (face value INR 5) on a preferential basis to REA, giving REA a 5.54% post-issue stake in the company. The acquisition aims to deepen Aurum's proptech ecosystem and is subject to shareholder approval at an EGM on August 21, 2025. PropTiger reported standalone turnover of INR 100.93 crore in FY24. Separately, Q1 FY26 consolidated revenue rose to INR 68.40 crore from INR 64.89 crore a year ago, but the company posted a loss after tax of INR 10.02 crore (vs INR 10.70 crore loss in Q1 FY25).
This acquisition adds PropTiger's real estate marketing and advisory business to Aurum's portfolio without any cash outflow, though it dilutes existing shareholders by ~5.54%. Backed by global digital real estate major REA Group (which will become a strategic shareholder), the deal could strengthen Aurum's market position in proptech. Q1 results show continued losses but improving revenue, keeping the stock in a wait-and-watch mode.
