Authum Investment & Infrastructure's board, at its July 14, 2025 meeting, approved unaudited Q1 FY26 results showing standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 1,210.40 crores and a sharp jump in net profit to Rs. 1,039.63 crores (vs Rs. 612.46 crores in Q1 FY25), largely boosted by a one-time Rs. 491.89 crores operating income from settling a loan and acquiring pledged shares. The company also completed the acquisition of an 88.37% stake in India SME Asset Reconstruction Company (ISARC), making it a subsidiary from June 17, 2025. Existing Whole Time Director Mr. Amit Dangi was designated Chairman of the Board. Company Secretary & Compliance Officer Ms. Avni Shah resigned for personal reasons, with Ms. Dipyanti Jaiswar appointed as her replacement from July 15, 2025.
Strong Q1 profit growth driven by a non-recurring loan settlement gain may not be sustainable, even as the ISARC acquisition expands the ARC business. Subsidiary Open Elite Developers (formerly Reliance Commercial Finance) has accumulated losses of Rs. 890.51 crores and faces a Rs. 25 crore SEBI penalty with a 5-year market ban under appeal, posing lingering governance and going-concern risks for the group.
