Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
DMart has sent a postal ballot notice to shareholders seeking approval for appointing Mr. Anshul Asawa as Managing Director and CEO for 3 years from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2029. He will succeed current MD and CEO Mr. Ignatius Navil Noronha whose tenure ends January 31, 2026. Asawa, an IIT Roorkee and IIM Lucknow alumnus, joined DMart in March 2025 as CEO Designate after 30 years at Unilever. His fixed pay will range Rs. 16 to 24 crore per year with performance incentives of Rs. 4 to 6 crore. E-voting runs January 22 to February 20, 2026.
Leadership transition from Noronha to external hire Asawa from Unilever now requires shareholder approval via postal ballot.
