AXISCADES has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indra, a major Spanish defense and aerospace company, to manufacture cutting-edge defense systems in India. The collaboration covers production of Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) for aircraft navigation and countermeasure systems designed to protect aircraft from missile threats like MANPADS. Both companies are also exploring joint product development for Indian and global markets, and evaluating partnerships for MPA Airborne Solutions and DRDO CABS programs. The MoU was signed at the Paris Air Show by Indra's CEO and AXISCADES' Chairman, with Indra's FY24 revenue at €4.843 billion across 49+ countries. Indra intends to source defense products and services from AXISCADES' design, development, production, and supply chain capabilities.
