Azad India Mobility Ltd (formerly Indian Bright Steel Company), now in the EV luxury bus manufacturing business, reported its Q3 FY26 results. Standalone net sales jumped to Rs. 2,867.72 lakhs from Rs. 1,980.66 lakhs in the previous quarter (Q2 FY26) and were nil in the year-ago quarter. The company swung to a net profit of Rs. 65.48 lakhs in Q3 FY26, compared with a loss of Rs. 23.31 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine months ended December 2025, total income rose to Rs. 5,703.18 lakhs with a net profit of Rs. 95.78 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.18), versus a loss of Rs. 27.75 lakhs a year ago. Consolidated results were broadly similar, with the subsidiary NAE Mobility Pvt Ltd contributing negligibly (Rs. 0.30 lakhs revenue). The statutory auditor issued an unqualified (clean) limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong sequential revenue growth (~45% QoQ) and a clear turnaround from losses to profits signal improving business momentum in the EV bus segment, which is positive for shareholders. However, profit margins remain thin (~2% operating margin), so investors should watch for sustained scaling and margin expansion in coming quarters.
