Azad India Mobility Ltd (formerly Indian Bright Steel Co. Ltd) reported its first full quarter of mobility operations with net sales of ₹769.45 lakhs in Q1 FY26, compared to nil sales in Q1 FY25, following the October 2024 acquisition of NAE Mobility Pvt Ltd. Total income stood at ₹788.69 lakhs, and the company swung to a standalone net profit of ₹7.39 lakhs from a loss of ₹17.26 lakhs a year ago, with EPS of ₹0.02 versus ₹(0.06). Consolidated net profit was ₹6.76 lakhs. The board also approved a preferential allotment of 88.05 lakh equity shares at ₹16/share to three allottees including Managing Director Bupinder Singh Chadha, fixed the 64th AGM for September 26, 2025, re-appointed the internal auditor, and appointed a new secretarial auditor for five years.
The results mark a business turnaround as the company has successfully pivoted from steel to mobility, with revenue and PAT both turning positive. Shareholders should note the equity dilution from the preferential issue and warrants conversion, which has already increased paid-up capital from ₹2,912.56 lakhs to ₹4,049.32 lakhs.
