On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.5 pts more than its 2/3 Wheelers peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 consolidated revenue from operations rose 18.8% year on year to Rs 15,734.74 crore, while profit after tax rose 53.2% to Rs 2,122.03 crore. H1 consolidated profit after tax rose 30.2% to Rs 4,332.47 crore. Bajaj Auto booked Rs 634.47 crore as its share of Pierer Bajaj's six-month loss in Q2. The consolidated review was modified because quarterly data was unavailable. H1 consolidated operating cash flow was negative Rs 260.45 crore.
Strong profit growth supports the stock, but the Pierer Bajaj loss, modified review and negative group cash flow may add downside risk.
