Bajaj Consumer Care reported FY25 standalone revenue from operations of ₹942.76 crore, down about 2.6% from ₹967.71 crore in FY24, with Q4 revenue rising roughly 3.2% YoY to ₹243.52 crore. Standalone profit after tax for FY25 fell to ₹130.14 crore from ₹158.77 crore, while Q4 PAT declined to ₹31.48 crore from ₹37.31 crore; EPS for the year stood at ₹9.38 versus ₹11.12. The company spent about ₹206 crore on a share buyback, paid ₹114 crore in dividends, and acquired a 49% stake in Vishal Personal Care Ltd for ₹59.5 crore, making it an associate from March 10, 2025. Statutory auditor Chopra Vimal & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Shareholders should note a modest top-line contraction and a sharper ~18% drop in annual profit, reflecting higher material costs and lower advertising spend, partly offset by capital returns via buyback and dividend. The clean audit and strong cash position are positives, but margin pressure is a concern for near-term earnings momentum.
