Bajaj Finance's Board approved audited standalone and consolidated results for Q4 and FY25 on April 29, 2025. Standalone total income rose to Rs. 59,419.84 crore (up ~26.6% from Rs. 46,945.98 crore in FY24), with profit after tax at Rs. 16,661.50 crore (up ~31.8% from Rs. 12,644.11 crore), boosted by an exceptional gain of Rs. 2,544.11 crore from the sale of its stake in Bajaj Housing Finance during BHFL's IPO. Q4 standalone PAT stood at Rs. 3,940.44 crore versus Rs. 3,401.91 crore in Q4FY24. The Board declared a Special Interim Dividend of Rs. 12/share (600%) funded by the BHFL IPO gain, and recommended a Final Dividend of Rs. 44/share (2200%), subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, it announced a stock split (1 share of Rs. 2 → 2 shares of Re. 1) and a bonus issue in the ratio of 4:1, both subject to postal ballot approval. Joint auditors Price Waterhouse LLP and Kirtane & Pandit LLP issued unmodified (clean) opinions on the results. Asset quality remains strong with Gross NPA at 1.18% and CRAR at 21.93%.
Shareholders benefit from a combined dividend of Rs. 56/share plus a 5x expansion in share count (via split + 4:1 bonus), which should improve liquidity and retail participation. Strong ~27% revenue and ~32% PAT growth, clean audit, and robust capital adequacy signal financial strength, though the exceptional BHFL gain is one-time and partly explains the PAT surge.
